New Features of the Security Audit Platform
Feedback from our partners is at the centre of the further development of our platform - many of the new functions that we introduced in 2024 are based on their valuable input. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you!
In 2024, we added two strong distributors, Nestec and Synaxon, to our sales network.
Nestec: The Austrian distributor specialising in security and messaging offers resellers value-added services such as support, training and a white-label SaaS portfolio. The ‘same day’ delivery guarantee for software licences is particularly noteworthy.
Synaxon: Europe's largest IT group networks over 3,200 partners and supports them in the areas of purchasing, marketing and knowledge transfer.
Thanks to the successful collaboration with all our distributors, we were able to expand our partner network to 814 partners by the end of 2024. Together with them, we have managed to increase the number of our customers to 4,633
Events, Webinars & Awards
Personal dialogue with partners and interested parties was the focus of numerous events such as the Fokus MSP conference, the Infinigate Innovation Summit, and it-sa.
Our partner workshops with over 500 participants were also a complete success. We discussed the latest features, sales tips and best practices in small groups. We are particularly proud of the strong community that supports each other and sets new IT security standards together. Another highlight was the presentation of our Platinum Award to GOESYS AG for the first time.
Our platform comprises around 143,000 different vulnerabilities, which it checks as part of the security audits. In 2024, 77,681 vulnerabilities were discovered in the external area and 3,286,398 in the internal area of customers. A significant proportion of these vulnerabilities were resolved automatically thanks to Auto Healing, resulting in a total of 1,119,013 vulnerabilities being fixed.
These are the top 3 most common vulnerabilities discovered in 2024:
Unpatched software and outdated systems: Security gaps remain exploitable due to a lack of updates.
Misconfigured IT systems: Open ports, inadequate access controls or insecure cloud configurations increase the risk of attacks.
Weak passwords: The use of simple or multiple passwords makes it easier for attackers to gain unauthorised access.
Summary & Outlook for 2025
2024, like the years before it, was an exciting year full of challenges, new opportunities and many successes that we mastered and celebrated together. We appreciate the commitment of our great team, the valuable partnerships that have developed and the fact that a large lywand community has grown and continues to grow.
2025 is all about scaling up and expanding into new markets - we plan to selectively expand the team, maintain our outstanding pace in the development of new features and drive the expansion of new markets such as BENELUX, Nordics and Southern Europe. One clear goal is to double our partner landscape and triple our ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue). One driver for 2025 will be the internal Network Check launched in January, the Linux and Mac agents, the integration of cloud security, security awareness and the NIS2 initiative, which will gain momentum in the European countries in 2025.
