Optimized IT security processes: lywand meets TANSS – thanks to woasi

IT service providers are faced with the challenge of efficiently identifying security vulnerabilities and rectifying them promptly. Lywand offers automated security checks and targeted recommendations for action. However, effective implementation of these measures requires seamless integration into existing workflows. The new connection to the TANSS ticketing system via the woasi interface now simplifies this process considerably.

Integration of the Implementation of Measures into Existing Processes

Lywand enables IT service providers to automatically analyze the entire IT landscape of SMEs for vulnerabilities and recommends specific measures to close security vulnerabilities.

The Renovation Plan supports IT technicians as a to-do list in the planning and implementation of necessary security measures. Structured administration is required to integrate these measures into operations in a sustainable and efficient manner. This is where integration into existing ticketing systems comes in.

TANSS: A Proven Ticketing System for IT Service Providers

Ticketing systems are essential for IT service providers to efficiently manage customer requests, tasks and service processes. They make it possible to structure workflows, monitor the progress of tasks and better manage the use of resources.

While systems such as Zendesk, Freshdesk or Jira Service Management are widely used, many IT service providers rely specifically on TANSS. The reason: it was developed specifically for the requirements of IT service providers and offers an optimal solution for the management of service orders and maintenance work.

woasi: The Bridge Between lywand and TANSS

Now woasi comes into play. As a platform for managed service providers, woasi facilitates the seamless integration of different IT systems and software solutions. Thanks to individually adapted interfaces, it enables smooth communication between applications and thus optimizes existing processes.

As part of this, woasi has developed a special interface that connects lywand directly with TANSS. As a result, security-relevant findings and measures from lywand are automatically recorded as tickets in TANSS.

The integration of lywand into TANSS makes the processing of security measures much more efficient. Vulnerabilities found and recommended measures from lywand are transferred directly to TANSS as tickets and IT teams can react immediately. The central documentation of all security-relevant tasks facilitates traceability and ensures that no measures are overlooked. In addition, the close link with the ticketing system enables more precise billing of IT services, as all measures carried out can be precisely recorded and evaluated.
