Lywand concludes distribution partnership with Nestec
Lywand's channel-exclusive solution for automated security audits is now available for IT service providers in Austria, South Tyrol and the Eastern Adriatic region via the value-added distributor Nestec. The collaboration supports IT service providers, system houses, MSPs and MSSPs in offering their customers reliable IT security services and developing new, cloud-based service models despite a shortage of skilled labour.
The platform offers IT service providers a simple way to improve the IT security of their SME customers. The solution performs automated security audits of the infrastructure and summarises the results in a compact, easy-to-understand summary and a list of necessary measures. This requires no expert knowledge, simplifies the consulting process and can be flexibly integrated into any service package, which supports the development of cloud-based service models.
The channel-exclusive solution is now available via Nestec. The value-added distributor specialising in security and messaging has a broad partner network in Austria, South Tyrol and the Eastern Adriatic region and will provide its partners with Lywand within the proven consumption model. Depending on the intensity and frequency of scans as part of their services, IT service providers can select the partner level that is right for them. The price for a scan performed is calculated according to the type of infrastructure analysed and the largest monthly scan volume used in the respective partner level (Silver, 1-500 targets; Gold, 501-4000 targets; Platinum, 4001- >10,000 targets). Billing is based on monthly usage.
IT security service offering despite staff shortages
